Women Businesses Drive the Local Economy
In Ghana, there is a popular saying that if you educate a man, you educate an individual but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation (Sir Kwagyir Aggrey 18 October 1875 – 30 July 1927).
This statement is still very relevant today than ever.
When you walk into many communities, the burden of child care including feeding, payment of school fees and shelter rests on the shoulders of women.
While men play their part in our society it is not in doubt that a society with an empowered women population has few children on the streets and a happy community where children can dare to dream.
Indeed when you support women businesses thrive, you support a whole community’s drive towards a better life.
