Update| Eco-Farming for Employment
With €5,928, 105 unemployed rural women have completed 4 weeks theoretical training in functional literacy skills, technical agricultural and business skills such as crop production, storage, organic fertilizer measures, pesticide labels, networking organization and marketing.
They are currently undergoing the practical training for a period of 20 weeks which involves cultivation of organic vegetables like pepper, okra, tomatoes and garden eggs based on the market demands.
The entire training prepares them to utilize modern farming techniques. Heritage Charity Foundation will also mentor them for 1 year. This way, they increase their yields and increased income.
