As COSDEP, we encourage production of different vegetable varieties as it provides a promising economy opportunity for reducing rural poverty and unemployment for our farmers. Vegetables farming is one key component of farm diversification strategies as they are one of the most affordable source of vitamins and minerals needed for good health and are easy to produce. In this post is Kagaa Amani farmers group during a training on how to harvest, prepare and add to value to the different vegetable varieties that they have produced.
