PINASOL YOUNG SOLAR PROFESSIONALS PROJECT LAUNCHED
Pinasol Foundation with support from Impact Direct Foundation and World Vision Ghana launched Pinasol Young Solar Professionals Training at Ashanti Effiduase. Speaking at the official launch, Apostle Solomon Okyere Asiamah, who is the Executive Director of Pinasol Foundation said, the project is being implemented to offer jobs and employment to the youth who have dropped out of school due to financial problem and also contribute the wellbeing of children and families. He reiterated that the project is contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals No Poverty, Quality Education and Clean and Affordable Energy.
He encouraged the beneficiaries to take the training serious since it is the genesis of reducing poverty in their lives.
He further outlined the components of the project as follows
- Payment of training cost
- Provision of basic electrical tools
- Workplace Experience Learning(WEL)
Miss Magdalene Awissi, The Direct of Social Welfare and community Development, speaking at short ceremony also thanked Impact Direct foundation and Pinasol Foundation for bringing such initiatives to the door step of the vulnerable and asked the participants to take advantage of the project to gain a livelihood.
Mr. Kwabene Fosu, who represented the manager of world vision Ghana pledged their support and partnership to the project and assured Pinasol Foundation and Impact Direct for their partnership to the project
