Interim Report Eco-Farming for Employment
With the first €800, we started to training 15 rural women and equipping them to venture into agribusiness. Although, we planned to train 10 rural women, we received more than expected individual participants and so we have to adjust the budget and was able to train 15 women.
The participants have gained knowledge in processing organic fertilizer, rain harvesting, crop production, and storage. But also on business skills like money management and marketing. And literacy skills relevant to agriculture, such as understanding fertilizer measures and pesticide labels. See the financial report below.
Currently, they have started cultivating farmlands to start their first nursery and are excited to have participated in the training. As you can see in the two videos below.
