In Kenya, there are many private and government backed bursary issuing agencies, however the demand always out ways the supply and hence our approach as Affecto in rescuing the disadvantaged students who go on to enjoy wholesome support and experience learning like any other student.
In addition, because of the disadvantaged backgrounds of our beneficiaries, most of their entire families have a very narrow and limited exposure to the opportunities available to hardworking students and we aspire to change this narrative, bringing the reality of possible change to the family level, giving hope for a better future.
