During the month of June, the PINASOL Foundation, with the sponsorship of World Vision, was busy conducting it’s second annual Dream Discovery and Career Guidance Fair. This was a series of seminars and workshops for junior high school students. They were conducted at several Junior High Schools in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region.

These seminars focus on the importance of continuing with secondary and tertiary education, as well as, career alternatives such as technical and vocational schools. They also stress the importance of learning a skilled trade.

It is PINASOL’s firm belief that better education among the youth is of paramount importance in helping to break the chain of poverty that still enslaves many poor families in Ghana.
