- Is there market for (a growing) soap produce?
The soap that will be produced will be sold not only in their communities and adjoining communities but will be sold in the Navrongo Market which is a major trading centre for traders who come from all over the Upper East Region.
2. What approach does RSS Foundation takes to have the project more sustainable? Can it run after the projects ends in some way?
On sustainability, the project’s intention is to encourage the beneficiaries build a cooperative to start a Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA). This will enable them raise funds to expand their trade in the future and provide seed capital for new members who join the association.
Also, the project has been designed to provide entrepreneurship and financial literacy training to enable beneficiaries effectively run their enterprises through diversification and so on.
