Learning about Direct Funding

Only 2% of the global aid budget is going directly to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the global south. More direct funding can bring more impact, against less costs, more sustainably. So how can we improve?  

In a small informal collaborative learning event between funders and practitioners, Adeso/Kujalink and iMPACT direct showcase their approach, learnings and results.

Programme

• Demonstrate how direct funding has a more significant impact on communities and organisations, by sharing our approaches, results and learnings.
• A showcase of the impactful work done by 10 civil society organisations from West and East Africa. You can choose a topic and meet 2-3 of them in a breakout session. 
• Funders will have the opportunity to ask questions aimed at improving funding practices focused on direct funding to local organisations to enhance impact.
